So even today it is out of the question that the teachers or those taught in the church should presume to test God by separating what he in his good pleasure has wished to be closely joined together. Service to other OC churches, improvement of relationships with them. 6. Opportunity to impact non-RCCers with our view of marriage (via book table) 7. Service opportunities for our youth 8. Helps fulfill several elements of our Strategy Map, Discipleship Objectives 12 -Improve the congregation’s knowledge of the Bible and doctrine 13 -Empower households through application of biblical truth Community Objectives 15 -Strengthen fellowship and brotherly kindness [of OC churches] 17 -Cultivate a community of prayer Service Opportunities Listen to Family Life’s radio show on KPDQ-FM, 93.7, 9:30-10:00 AM Monday-Friday. Register! Know and pray for the leadership team. Think of a way to volunteer. * John Shaw ( Prayer Coordinator) - Pray that Elder Shaw and John Unger might compose some written prayers to be distributed to RCCer’s ASAP. - Pray that Elder Shaw might get regular prayer updates out to the Team and RCC. - Volunteer to be part of the prayer team. Current members are John Unger and Vance and Nancy Adams. Members of other OC churches will also be part of the Team. * Matt Dau (Promotional director) – Pray that Matt might get promotional materials done by Wednesday for the OC Pastors Prayer Meeting. - Pray for wisdom for Matt as he and Elder Tuuri oversee promotional radio spots to run on KPDQ. - Pray for other promotional ideas for Matt. * Kent Walton (Church Coordinator, Pastor of Hilltop Community Church) - Pray that Kent gets 10 churches strongly committed to promoting the seminar by week’s end. * Mike Lortz (Donation Director) – Pray that Michael might be successful in raising funds for advertising and sponsoring couples. - Get a Christian businessman you know to talk to Michael about becoming a corporate sponsor of the Seminar. * Dave Tooze (Administration director) – Volunteer to bring snacks for h vent. - Volunteer to help set up for the event. - Ask Dave what you can do to help. * Dennis Tuuri (Follow-up Director) – Pray for good decisions about follow up Bible studies or support meetings for attendees, and for good promotion of follow-up events. - Pray that he might use those trained by the seminar to help teach others how to resolve conflicts Biblically. * Matt Lyons (Seminar Director) - Pray that Matt might do a good job riding herd on the Team!
